Meet Dr. RonIf you are new to the Las Vegas area and you want to maintain the same high level of dental treatment you received back home, you need an appointment to see Dr. Ron. Dr. Ron Levandoski attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree in May of 1972. He subsequently completed a general dentistry internship and a prosthodontics specialty residency certified by the American Dental Association in 1975. Dr. Ron moved to Nevada in December of 2000 after practicing in Pennsylvania and Minnesota as a specialist limited to prosthodontics. Dr. Ron is currently enjoying a general dental practice providing high level general family dental treatment. If you need your teeth whitened, we can help. If you need an athletic mouthguard for dad or sealants and fillings for the kids, we do that here at Dr. Ron's office. Cosmetics for front teeth, crowns, bridgework, we do that. Dr. Ron is the founder of the International Association of Craniofacial Rheumatology, devoted to non surgical management of TMJ internal derangement disorders Dr. Levandoski has lectured internationally for over thirty years on the topics of Non Surgical Management of TMJ Internal Derangement Disorders and Full Mouth Reconstruction. Dr. Levandoski has served as a Clinical Instructor at The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine as a senior resident in prosthodontics and also The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. He has served as a certified instructor for the International Association for Orthodontics and the Mid America Orthodontic Society. * Dr. Ron is a regularly featured speaker on the Tru Hawkins Show on KDWN radio, 720 AM in Las Vegas, Nevada. Radio KDWN is the most powerful AM radio station in southern Nevada and reaches eleven state, British Columbia and Mexico with 50,000 watts of clear channel power. * Dr. Ron is a member of the Executive Committee of the Southern Nevada Dental Society and is a member of the Peer Review Committee. He is active in community dental services for the handicapped and disadvantaged. About our office If you’ve tried everything and your teeth still aren’t right, you need an appointment with Dr. Ron. Great dental care should never be a gamble. It never happens by accident. It takes the full dedication and cooperation of the patient and Dr. Ron and his staff. In our office we show you how to take care of your teeth yourself. 99% of dentistry is done by the patient when they decide to avoid sugar foods and when they brush and clean their teeth at home. The 1% of dental care that is performed in the office by Dr. Ron is expensive time consuming reparative treatment. God designed your teeth to last a lifetime; Dr. Ron and his staff can show you how to do your own dentistry; preventive dentistry! At the first visit, we always ask each patient to tell us what they need so we know how to help them. With over thirty five years of experience Dr. Ron has learned that patients usually want comfort first. Patients generally have a very good idea of their needs and want to communicate this to the doctor. Dr. Ron and his staff are highly trained and attuned to keeping you informed and comfortable during your visits to our office. Without the patients’ full understanding, participation and cooperation, the best treatment plan cannot be achieved or maintained. No hard sell or pressure with Dr. Ron, you are the quarterback of your own personal smile team. This approach eliminates stress in our office and allows you to develop a friendly relationship with our office and enjoy your visits. SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT To schedule a dental appointment, please call (792) 310-5970. Pre-planned appointments are always best for ideal treatment. We keep extra time in the schedule every day for walk in appointments and emergencies. We can usually see you the same day. Or the next day if requested. Appointments from new patients are always welcomed. Our hours vary according to patient needs, but early morning and evening hours are available five days per week Weekend and evening appointments for folks who prefer privacy are available. If you want to avoid any interaction with others, you can be scheduled in total privacy. Emergencies Emergencies can be handled at any time, any day of the week. IMPORTANT ! Many patients have complex treatment plans that require extra long visits. Therefore, if for some reason, you are unable to keep your appointment, we kindly ask that you give us at least 48 hours notice. This courtesy on your part will make it possible for us to offer your scheduled appointment time to another patient. We always have our message answer service open. Your call will be returned. Dental Insurance Plans Dr. Ron’s office participates with most dental insurance plans. Some patients choose to pay dental fees in advance and then receive insurance reimbursement checks directly from the insurance company. We also work with financial institutions for patients requiring extensive dental work in a short period of time. We offer several categories of financial arrangements depending upon each individual patient's treatment and needs. We will always discuss and make arrangements before any treatment is scheduled.
